History: The history of Drills of Hope Marching Thunder was founded by Robin and Anthony Woods. on Oct 1st, 1996. Robin and Anthony' Woods' desires was to help young people come off the streets from violence, drugs, alcohol and gangs. They have always believed that Hope is within the hands of the Lord.
Drills of Hope is a Non-Proft organization that operates from donations, volunteers and prayer.

Purpose: Our purpose is to provide educational and recreational activites as an alternative solution from drugs,alcohol and violence through the art of drum and dance.

Anthony Woods is one of the founders of Drills of Hope.Hope Known as Papa Woods to the kids. You can see him during the event with his Bull Horn. He motivates and engages the crowd giving them history of our organization.
Robin Woods is one of the founders of Drills of Hope. She is known as Mama Woods. You can see her during the event trying to encourage other youths and their families to join our organziation. She is known for seeking out sponsors & volunteers.
